I’m afraid going to be incredibly pedantic and point out that Unearthed Arcana was to some extent a compilation of material that was already released under the OGL; some of it by companies other than WotC. I would go off the word “Premium” myself. Core Rulebook I, v. However, they have different covers, etc. The first link is the Player’s Handbook 2, kef adds many rules, feats, and classes into the game. Of links 2 and 3, which one has these ‘extras in the back’?

Ooef k 28 SRDs are excellent rules references but terrible learning-to-play tools.

And I certainly think a new player to an experienced group should have no trouble learning d&e the SRD supplemented by his group-mates. I try to avoid steering new players to SRDs of games. The exact amounts of XP that you need to level up, and the ways of calculating how much XP a given encounter is worth, are also missing.
It’s kind of awkward to reword that sentence for that exception, and Wizards did release Unearthed Arcana as part of its own SRD.
