It doesn’t help that I couldn’t cry, because my mom was in the same room and she might think I’m crying over my boyfriend or something which is something I’m not allowed to have yet: The only complaint I have is that it ended and I want to know if the human alarm clock is a baby. Callum is such a good guy. First off, it alternates between Callum and Harper’s pov which is freakin awesome! Not to mention, iam sobbing for few minutes because the story is just so breathtakingly beautiful!

No way was I prepared for how this book would affect me.

They are struggling to get by and are just trying their best to secure a future for themselves. And that’s something I’ve never said about any other couple before.

To be honest, I didn’t like the book at first. All the bad things that happened should make the reader feel sad and sorry for the characters instead I just felt fisger. Wikipedia in English None. Sep 16, Mlpmom Book Reviewer rated it liked it Shelves: This will definitely be a re-read for me.

Book Review: Callum and Harper (Sleepless #1) by Fisher Amelie

I liked the premise of this book. They only had one another. I loved it so much and it touched such a special place in my heart that Fishdr don’t think I can do it justice. She secretly hid notebooks and notebooks of dribble in a large Tupperware storage container in her closet as a kid.

Because these two 18 year olds had nothing and they still believed that somehow they were going to be okay. Their story is both painfully heart-breaking and delightfully uplifting. I love how they both can’t admit it to one another. Those thoughts were all going through my head while reading this book.

With that said, if you’re a fan of the young-adult genre this book will probably work for you. Okay, so let me say one thing first. It’s about standing by one another in a loyal friendship, never letting the other fall down. Its more about their feelings for each other. I remembered looking down into her face, her eyes bright with new adventure and a little piece of my harpeg fell into her hands.

Their love is so pure, and so perfect it will literally make your heart feel light as a feather. They ifsher for each other quickly but their journey is slow, bumpy and full of misunderstandings.

It’s not just the love and happy things that Fisher Amelie captures but the bad also. You’re married and she is obviously interested! I literally could not sit down and read for too long.

It was also one of the saddest, gut-wrenching books ever. I never heard of this book and probably wouldn’t have read it if I wasn’t doing a challenge that needed “Foster Kids”.

I mean, we’re not talking anything complicated like say, oooh, past perfect. Add to Your books. Feb 12, Tough Critic Book Reviews rated it really liked it. They are instantly attracted to each other but develop a friendship instead of a romantic relationship because they are each too scared of losing the other.

This is my first book by Fisher Amelie and I enjoyed her writing style. They loved each other. Callum refused to leave the poor girl alone because she was really alone–no family, no friends, and it was New York City, afterall.
